International Data Group (IDG)

International Data Group approached TFG for a redesign of their IDG Knowledge Hub property – a site that we had previously designed and launched in 2011. This refresh would integrate their Strategic Marketing Services (SMS) web property with the Knowledge Hub property.

1.0 The Challenge

IDG is a legacy corporation that sets the standard for media, data and services in the tech space. The Knowledge Hub site is a repository for strategic marketing analysis, research and information for B2B technology professionals so the look and energy of the site needed to appeal to these personas in an engaging and easy to digest fashion to allow IDG to build on their brand equity. Critically, the merger of the Knowledge Hub site and SMS property needed to better serve business development needs and grow revenue.

3.0 How We Did It
IDG challenged us with redesigning their resource site for tech marketers, IDG Knowledge Hub including folding in their global strategic marketing services site to create a better user experience for visitors looking for resources to do their jobs better. In addition it was important for IDG to design a site that did not reflect the standard B2B site, but instead reflected that of a B2C site.
4.0 Client Feedback
