Chairman of SCBA, New Bedford Oktoberfest steps down, joins Emeritus Group

Founded in 2006 by Patrick Long, Jay Lanagan, Tom Rainford and Jeff Sanders, The South Coast Business Alliance (SCBA) was originally meant to be a referral network to generate new business, but it quickly grew into the charitable foundation it is today. The SCBA prides themselves on the fact that its members donate 100% of their time within the organization, without any administrative fees. The Franchise Group’s CVO Nick Francis has acted as a dedicated member of the SCBA for 11 years. He recently stepped down as the chairman of the New Bedford Oktoberfest, leaving the SCBA to join the Emeritus Group.
The History of Luminoso

A local company founded in Cambridge, MA, Luminoso has been a leading AI (artificial intelligence) based analytics company for over half a decade. Breaking out of the MIT Media Lab after 10 years of AI research, Luminoso has since expanded its business to include 8 offices in 3 different countries. TFG’s Art Director Tracy deEscobar recently created an infographic showcasing Luminoso’s powerful growth since its flagship year.

TFG is a leading independent advertising agency and will be responsible for advertising and integrated marketing communications activities including creative, branding, digital, demand gen and event planning for Traction Technology Partners. TFG’s Chief Conversion Officer Brigitte LaMarche commented on the partnership: “We are very excited about this new partnership and look forward to developing data-driven marketing programs that will elevate the Traction Technology Partners brand and portfolio.”
